BACKGROUND
After years of decorating, designing and 'DIY'ing, I finally decided to turn it all into a career.
My Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph, my Interior Design education from Yorkville University (formerly The International Academy of Design) and my love of art, design and decor, all contribute to my knowledge and enthusiasm in the field of interior design. I am thrilled to offer my services to help others make their home a place where they can be comfortable, relaxed and enjoy time with loved ones and friends.

SUCCESSFUL DESIGN
Good design is about creating a space that is beautiful AND functional and is a reflection of YOU! A comfortable and well designed space can offer peace and tranquility and give you a place to be happy and proud to invite guests. Good design does NOT come from shopping at the most expensive furniture stores and purchasing the most expensive art. It is about curating pieces that you LOVE and make you happy and reflect you as an individual. We are all different and our home should reflect who we are and what inspires us. Let me help you achieve that in your home.
LIGHTING
A well lit space can lift your mood and make everything look and feel better. Including you ;) It is a crucial aspect of design that should not be an after thought but considered from the very beginning of a project and fully integrated into every aspect of the design.
COLOUR
We are all inspired by different things and different colours and patterns. Some people like a soothing neutral palette and some of us feel better with bright vibrant colours surrounding us. I can help you find paint, fabric and accessories to reflect your personality and add individual style to your home.
ORGANIZATION
A well designed home is a well organized home. I can help you to maximize the use and comfort of your home by editing unneeded clutter, adding storage and organizing furniture in a way that best suits the space and your unique lifestyle.

TRANSITIONAL DESIGN
I love the mix of traditional elements with modern design and the addition of personal touches that reflect my client. I feel that it is so important to include vintage and antique pieces into the home that reflect your family history, travels and passions. These items bring personality and soul into your space.
COLLABORATIVE APPROACH
While I describe my design style as transitional, I appreciate many different styles and truly enjoy the process of collaborating with my clients individual taste. I find the best results come from this kind of collaboration because the end product is something different than any other home.
